In case you haven’t noticed, the world is currently trembling under the weight of the Deathcrusher tour: Carcass, Voivod, Obituary, Napalm Death and Herod are roaming the continents of America and Europe.
Two of the titans involved in this affair, Voivod and Napalm Death, have decided to celebrate the event by doing what they do best: write music. The Canadian tech-thrash pioneers and the British masters of noise have therefore teamed up for a split 7”. Voivod appear with their new song Forever Mountain and Napalm Death with the exclusive track Phonetics For The Stupefied.
The vinyl comes in three versions from Century Media records (home of both bands):
Black: 1200 copies
Solid White: 300 copies
Transparent Red: 700 copies
and can be ordered here.
There are also 300 copies of the Neon Yellow version, only available at Deathcrusher shows.
The release comes with artwork from the phenomenal Michael “Away” Langevin, also drummer for Voivod.
The Deathcrusher tour concludes on 29 November in Barcelona.
