Svartidaudi formed in 2002. After three demos and one split release, they made big waves in the underground in 2012 with their first full-length, Flesh Cathedral. Their debut album received praise from critics and audiences alike – and not without good reason!
2014 sees the return of the Icelanders with two new songs; “two apocalyptic hymns of blinding illumination and iconoclastic orgasms, tantric mantras to end all flesh,” as the statement informs us. ‘Venus Illegitima’ and ‘Impotent Solar Phallus’ will be released as 45 rpm 12″ and CD, with artwork from the master Timo Ketola.
