Brain-rattling drone titans SunnO))) have announced a run of live dates to coincide with European festival appearances for late Spring/early Summer. The band recently released their Ulver collaboration, Terrestrials, as well as Soused, a collaboration with singer/composer Scott Walker; both of which winding up among the strongest releases of 2014.
Formed in 1998, SunnO)))’s core consists of Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson with various collaborators and partnerships throughout their existence. As a live unit, the band’s sound has become legendary, with their unique mix of ambient, drone, and noise having been known to physically affect the listener during the experience. During their 17-year existence, the band has released roughly 25 albums, live recordings, demos, EPs and splits.
