QUE CHIMBA HIJUEPUTA!!! Filming for ZT’s debut documentary film continues in the capital of Colombian metal – Medellín, Antioquia. We’re here with MASACRE / MORBID MACABRE frontman, Alex Okendo living like real latin bastards in the comunas (the slums) – there is NO paid accomodation, NO hot water and NO guarantee we’ll survive… our crew have never been more at home.
The weekend has seen some insane partying but more importantly, we were granted media access to the city’s annual music festival, Altavoz. All types of music including extreme metal were represented, the former hammered home by MORBID MACABRE and Spanish sickos AVULSED, who completely dominated the event.
Police were out in full force as usual, and draconian measures at the festival led to an atmosphere of state control. It didn’t seem to matter to the maniacs and metaleros who travelled far and wide to attend this monumental event. One in particular, known to some as Jose Necrofucker (Bestial Possession, ex-Anal Vomit) travelled all the way from Peru. When asked to comment on the festival, Necrofucker calmly said: “HELLBITCHES EAT MY BLOOD AND SEMEN!!!!”
After performing to a crowd of thousands, MORBID MACABRE were interviewed on Medellín TV, where they named Zero Tolerance Magazine as “The best extreme metal mag on the planet.” How’s that for a plug?!
