Uprising Festival, which takes place on 29 April 2023 at Leicester’s 02 Academy, have announced their first set of confirmed bands.
It’s confirmed that Paradise Lost will take to the stage as headliners for Uprising’s sixth installment. Greg Macintosh comments: “When we play Uprising in Leicester next April, it will have been well over a year since we last played a show in the UK, so come along and help make it a good one.”
Other bands announced include American/Norwegian industrial-core force Combichrist and atmospheric Caledonian folk metal collective SAOR (featured in issue ZT issue 107).
Nottingham’s Palm Reader will make the short hop across to Leicester, as will stoner sons Boss Keloid and metalcore crew Internal Conflict. Local favourites Blood Oath are also scheduled to join the party.
Uprising Festival takes place on 29 April 2023 at the O2 Academy, Leicester. Tickets are priced at a reasonable £38.50, and can be purchased here.
