Norwegian black metal kings Mayhem will be embarking on a European tour this May, including one stop at London’s Electric Ballroom.
With a new album featuring their first recorded material in seven years due out later this year, there’s no doubt the tour is in support of the as-yet-untitled full-length. For many it will be the first chance to hear some of the new material, their first since 1995 without guitarist and chief songwriter on last album Ordo Ad Chao, Blasphemer (who left in 2008).
The tour takes in ten countries over 15 dates, from Germany right through to Denmark, with a spot at London’s Electric Ballroom on May 21. Anyone unable to make the dates need not despair though, as the band have said they’ll be doing a second European leg at a later point (hopefully with more UK dates).
