MASSACRE CANCEL EUROPEAN TOUR

Death metal masters Massacre have sadly cancelled their 2012 European tour.

.
The month-long trek, dubbed the ‘Army of Darkness Tour’, was intended to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Massacre’s classic album ‘From Beyond’, and featured fellow maniacs Macabre and Master sharing the bill.

.
Eric Greif, Massacre’s lawyer, has stated: “The band was looking forward to the trip but got spooked when no contracts or deposits materialized, despite repeated requests to the agent. They’ll instead head over later for some summer festivals that don’t conflict with Terry’s Obituary commitments.”

.
The tour, which was to take place in January and February of 2012, had death fiends salivating at the prospect of seeing a revived Massacre performing ‘From Beyond’ in its entirety, as well as performances from Macabre and Master.
