THE NEW DOMINION RECORDING SECOND ALBUM

Dutch death dealers The New Dominion have started work on recording their second album.

.
The band have begun tracking drums at Excess Studios in Rotterdam, whilst the other instruments will be handled at drummer Yuma Van Eekelen’s Final Focus Studios in Tilburg.

.

Bart Hennephof, who plays guitar in Textures, and Van Eekelen will be producing and mixing the album.

.
The drummer, and current Pestilence member, has said that the new full-length will be “a truly unique piece of death metal art. It’s got all the ingredients to be a killer record that will definitely stand out; fast and aggressive riffing alternated with brutal grooves, technical high skilled drumming and a voice easily capable of doing deep grunts, high pitched screams and everything in between.”

.
The band also commented: “The debut album offered listeners a refreshing mix of thrash/death metal in its most alternating perspective thinkable. Boundaries are there to be pushed and this will most definitely happen in the second half of 2011 with the release of the second TND album”.

.

The debut full-length, “…And Kindling Deadly Slumber”, was produced by Tymon Kruidenier, who has previously worked with Cynic, and released in March 2009 through Neurotic Records.
