Lord Vicar, the “all-star” doom metal band featuring Kimi “Peter Vicar” Kärki (Orne, ex-Reverend Bizarre) on guitar and Christian “Chritus” Lindersson (ex-Saint Vitus, ex-Count Raven and Terra Firma) on vocals have recently rounded off the recording session for their sophomore album, “The Signs Of Osiris”. It will contain seven songs, including “Sign of Osiris Slain”, “Between the Blue Temple and the North Tower” and “Endless November”.
“Having had a chance to sit down and listen to the final mixes, I’m somewhat overwhelmed,” enthuses Lord Vicar’s drummer Gareth Millsted on the band’s Facebook profile. “Whilst it is instantly recognizable as LV it is very different to (the debut album) ‘Fear No Pain’. However I’m satisfied that LV fans will dig it. It’s quite a lot to take in though, my impression is that it’s one of those albums that you need to listen to several times before the penny drops”.
The release date for “The Signs Of Osiris” is set for the 31st of October through The Church Within Records.
