Fleshgod Apocalypse Wine On Sale

Italian death metal outfit Fleshgod Apocalypse have unveiled their own brand of wine as a way to thank their fans for all their support over the past few years.

Influenced by this year’s storming album ‘Labyrinth’ the two wines are named ‘Minotaur’, for the bottle of red, and ‘Ariadne’, for the bottle of white. Both are now available to buy from their website and feature the band’s logo with some special mythical artwork on the label.

Revealing why they’ve decided to enter the drinks market the band said: “We have spent a lot of time thinking about the best way to thank all our fans for the outstanding support we received throughout these years, a truly unique gift which could fully represent our Italian heritage and our strong connection with the Mediterranean culture. That’s why we decided to choose two of the most typical blends of our area, grown in the most prestigious vineyards, to deliver you these two high-quality wines, inspired by the myth of the labyrinth of Knossos. Here’s to you: ‘Minotaur’ and ‘Ariadne’!”

‘Minotaur’ comes at 14.5% ABV and is recommended as best served with cured meats, game and barbecue meat, while ‘Ariadne’ is 12.5% ABV and best combined with appetizers, fish, white meat and cheeses (like most red and white wines).

A minimum of two bottles can be ordered at a time, in any combination, and will set you back €30 (excluding shipping and handling). Rumours of a Fleshgod Apocalpizza being in the pipeline are yet to be confirmed.

To order your bottle(s) head over to their official website.
