Dublin’s Coldwar are a dab hand at creating brilliant slabs of death metal. Their latest, the blistering Christus Deathshead, is no exception. Comments guitarist Paul Nash about the album’s concept in his recent interview for ZT Mag : “It challenges the intolerance of the Book Of Revelations and those who take it seriously, word for word, and use it as a front to indoctrinate the ignorant into a frenzy of rape, pillage and intolerance in the name of Christ – a truthful stab in the back of religious fundamentalism and its uses to secure global dominance – God’s way or the highway!”
