353_photoBrummie doom mainstays Esoteric have produced consistently excellent records since Epistemological Despondancy first darkened our doors back in 1994, and 2016 is likely to see the release of their seventh full length album.

The band will take the rest of 2015 to knuckle down and write for the new record. As a result, aside from a few festivals and one-off shows, Estoteric will be absent from the stage in the coming months. Other than working on new music, the band are planning on releasing The Pernicious Enigma and Metamorphogenesis on vinyl – their only two albums that are yet to be released in this format. Exciting times ahead for fans of one of the most highly acclaimed doom acts of recent decades.
