CHRIST AGONY’S DEVILISH MIXTURE

Long running Polish black metal unit Christ Agony is about to release their ninth studio album “NocturN”, divided into eight opuses. It will be released via Mystic Production on the 2nd of October 2011.

“It’s the heaviest and most polished album Christ Agony has ever made in the band’s 20 year long musical career!”, told Zero Tolerance bassist Reyash. “Still, just by hearing the first notes you will know it’s Christ Agony because the new album is a devilish mixture of the now cult “Moonlight – act III” from 1996 and “Daemoonseth – act II” from 1994, combined with the unearthly heaviness of Inferno’s drumming, crushing bass and Cezar’s dark and satanic lyrics as well as the distinctive Christ Agony sound and song structures. We’re damn excited by the fact that the album’s premiere is set for the 2nd of October, when we’ll be playing at “Underworld” in London, the show being a part of NocturN European Tour 2011. This is Christ Agony’s first visit to the UK and we’re hoping for a real metal inferno during our shows!”

Christ Agony’s European tour will kick off on September 30th in Tilburg (Holland) and will also hit Belgium, UK, Ireland, Belgium and Germany. Each show will comprise of “Moonlight” being played in its entirety, classics from the early albums as well as three songs off “NocturN”. Check the band’s Facebook profile for more details on the trek.
