Benek Aleksander is a New York based published author and music journalist with a decade in experience spanning three continents and many different countries. He worked for Friedhof Magazine (ES,) and Bulldozer Magazine (USA) previously, as well as various other PR, journalism and writing ventures. As a speaker of many languages (including Polish,Spanish, Italian,German, Greek, Hebrew and English, all except German and Greek on a rather fluent level) and lover of useless trivia knowledge, Benek would like to think of himself as a rather worldly sort. He would also like to get better at writing his own biographies in third person.
As for Metal, Benek happened upon Metal at the tender age of about 11-12 (he can't really remember,) and as the cliche goes, the rest was aerodynamic engineering...I...he means history. Benek famously stood in front of a crowd in Warsaw and said, "Ja pierdole, where's the venue?" But he also said, "as long as it's good, it's worth listening to...provided it doesn't have the word "post" before or "core" after." And much like Jesus, they hated him because he told the truth.
