ZT PREMIERE: NEW VIDEO FROM LONDON’S LIMB

In collaboration with the New Heavy Sounds label, we’re pleased to give you an exclusive chance to watch the new video for the track ‘LXXXVI’ from Limb‘s forthcoming self-titled album.

Formed in 2011, Limb have steadily gained a reputation as ‘one to watch’ on the doom/sludge scene. The underground metal label Witch Hunter Records was hooked enough to release the band’s early demos, as well as a recent split EP with fellow sludge merchants Gurt, on which Limb cover Queen’s ‘Son And Daughter’.

Limb’s eponymous debut album, released on 14th April 2014, shows that even within doom/sludge there is room for expansion, experimentation and evolution. Their ‘Gift Of The Sun’ track  made it onto Stuart Maconie’s experimental Freak Zone 6Music radio show, and that perhaps highlights the band’s singular vision. The cover art, which depicts a scene from the record’s final song, was created by Richey Beckett, fresh from his work with Metallica and Mastodon.

A super deluxe vinyl edition will come in a gatefold sleeve, with a heavyweight 180g green and black vinyl record, plus an insert of the cover art and a free download of the whole album. The vinyl release is limited to 300 copies, but it will also be available on CD and download too from 14th April.
