Pagan metal band Woodtemple have signed a deal with Sacrilege Records who will release their new album at the end of September.
Forgotten Pride is set to be Woodtemple’s fifth full-length and comes six years after predecessor Sorrow Of The Wind. Keeping in the pagan spirit with underlying black metal tones, Forgotten Pride will also be the first Woodtemple album to include trupmets, which could prove interesting.
Formed back in 1998 by a then 16-year-old Aramath in Austria, Woodtemple started out as a one-man musical project that is still going today (albeit Aramath has enlisted the help off the odd other musician at times, including a session musician for live performances and a drummer more recently).
Forgotten Pride will be limited to just 500 copies for the first pressing and released in an A5 digibook complete with a 12-page booklet. It will be released on September 30 via Sacrilege Records.
