Once the singer/bassist of Morbid Angel, Steve Tucker returns with a new project: Warfather. The band will release their debut album ‘Orchestrating the Apocalypse’ on 21 January 2014 via Greyhaze Records.
Steve Tucker was David Vincent’s replacement in Morbid Angel from 1997 – 2003. With Tucker, Morbid Angel released the ridiculously overlooked Formulas Fatal to the Flesh, Gateways to Annihilation and Heretic albums.
Tucker has moved to guitar for Warfather, leaving the bass to Nick McMaster (Krallice, Nader Sadek, Castevet). The band is completed by members Armatura (of Cincinnati’s Dominion) on guitar and Deimos (Temple, ex-Severe Torture) on the drums.
Tucker describes the new album as “pure blackened, apocalyptic death metal”, leaving all those who love the F, G and H Morbid Angel albums salivating.
‘Orchestrating the Apocalypse’ was recorded at TME studios, Cincinnati. It was mixed by Steve Tucker himself, and mastered by Maor Applebaum.
