SUBROSA INSTRUMENTS STOLEN

American doom/sludge quintet SubRosa have had some of their instruments stolen while on tour in California.

The band are currently doing six dates with Samothrace in the sunny state and were due to play in Oakland (with their own instruments) last night. Sadly after the first show in Reno some thieves broke into their van.

The band said on Facebook: “SubRosa just had our van broken into in Sacramento and had a bunch of instruments stolen. We are still playing the Oakland Metro Operahouse tonight. See you then.”

Various fans have offered to watch Craigslist over the next few days in case any of the instruments turn up, although the band intend to continue the tour regardless. The Utah group released their latest album ‘More Constant Than The Gods’ via Profound Lore Records in September this year, which gained a lot of positive reviews.

Here’s hoping they get their instruments back.
