The London metal scene faces the loss of yet another venue, with the Stockwell Grosvenor having been sold to Golfrate property developers. Nothing is set in stone as of yet and the pub will keep operating for now; an employee posted: “We’re trading as usual. No real info at this stage :(”

The Grosvenor was popularised by a number of independent promoters and quickly became one of South London’s regular hangouts, seeing such names as DRI, Agathocles and Chapel Of Disease grace the function room’s minuscule stage.
