Polish extreme metallers SARATAN have set November 23th as the release date of their new full-length “Martya Xwar” on Massacre Records. The album reportedly comprises of forty minutes of apocalyptic death/thrash metal, full of oriental and classical ornaments, ethnic music, occultism and orchestrations. “Martya Xwar” was recorded over the course of five months in five recording studios in Poland and Germany, then mixed and mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, Celtic Frost) at Woodshed Studio. A video for the song “Ba’al Zevuv” is now available for streaming HERE.
Robert Zembrzycki – Saratan’s live guitarist – issued ZT with the following statement: “With the new Saratan video, ‘Ba’al Zevuv’, you guys can expect the unexpected! It is a blend of really powerful imagery, atmospheric and brutally simple animation, which still holds a deeper, symbolic meaning and most of all – music that will surely make ‘Martya Xwar’ a must-have album for many listeners!”
Jarek Niemiec (bass, vocals) added: “Our goal was not only to make a standard metal video. We wanted to create something really dim and mystic. A story not so obvious, but much more figurative”.
