Mark your calendars for 2 December 2012. It will be on this date that the almighty Neurosis will play their only other UK show in support of their new album “Honor Found in Decay” alongside Birmingham’s industrial titans Godflesh at the HMV Forum. Aside from this appearance, Neurosis’ other UK date will be at the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas Festival, scheduled for 30 November through 2 December. Again, these will be the only two UK shows in supporrt of Neurosis’ forthcoming “Honor Found in Decay” set to hit the streets in the UK on 29th October.
Commenting on the upcoming appearance, Steve Von Till stated “Neurosis and Godflesh together is long overdue! We have been admirers of Godflesh since their first recordings. Streetcleaner changed heavy music forever. I don’t think anyone can argue that this will be an extremely powerful and special night for all of us.”
Tickets for the HMV Forum show can be purchased here.
“Honor Found in Decay” is the 10th full-length studio album from Neurosis, and the follow up to their superb 2007 offering “Given to the Rising.” Originally forming in 1985, Neurosis has never ceased to mesmerize and captivate their audiences both via the studio and in their mind-blowing live performances. Forever pushing their boundaries, “Honor Found in Decay” has been described as “both torturous and transcendent” and “the ongoing exposition of a vast internal dialogue that seems to carry the weight of eons.”
