MOTÖRHEAD: ALIVE AND KICKING!

Motorhead

Motörhead have a new album ready! The band’s 22nd (!) brainchild bears the title Bad Magic, is destined to be a noisy affair and should be expected on 28 August 2015 via UDR Music/Motörhead Music.

Bad Magic is here to prove that despite their old age, years of substance use and health problems of late, Motörhead are still in their natural environment when surrounded by amps. The new album was recorded live in the studio (that’s the first time the current line-up of Killmister/Campbell/Dee attempt this). The press-release mentions driving malevolence, omnipotent moody vocals, punk and devilish attitude. Doesn’t that sound an awful lot like classic Motörhead already?!

Bad Magic features the guitar solo of Queen’s Brian May on the song The Devil, as well as a cover of Rolling Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil.

“Lemmy also finally decided to face the fact he is flesh, blood and mortal like all of us, adjusting his lifestyle to kick the ass of health-issues and re-emerging stronger, leaner and meaner than ever” the press release mentions. Makes things even more interesting!

Thanks for dropping in!
