Morbid Angel Begin Work On New Album

Death metal veterans Morbid Angel have entered the studio to begin recording the follow up to 2003’s Heretic; a late 2010, early 2011 release is anticipated, via Season Of Mist. Recording is taking place in St Petersburg, Florida, at Mana Recording Studios, which is owned and operated by former Morbid Angel guitarist Erik Rutan. The album will the first to be recorded without drummer Pete Sandoval whose on-going back problems have required him to take some time out. Replacing him temporarily is Tim Yeung.
