MIASMAL ANNOUNCE TITLE FOR THEIR NEW ALBUM

Swedish death metallers Miasmal have finished work on their second full-length Cursed Redeemer. The new album will be released in April under the seal of Century Media.

The successor to Miasmal’s self-titled debut was recorded by Fredrik Nordström (At The Gates, Skitsystem, Martyrdöd and most of the more commercially successful Swedish metal bands at one point or another). Cloaked in artwork by Mattias Frisk (Ghost, Vampire, etc.) artwork, Cursed Redeemer’s eight tracks promise “ruthless, ferocious and straight forward death metal”.

Miasmal are set to present Cursed Redeemer at a special showcase in Gothenburg at Truckstop Alaska: on 5 April 2014, at the Death Comes Ripping show with compatriots Morbus Chron and Vampire, both also presenting their new respective new albums. Century Media will release a limited 7inch Miasmal/Vampire split EP in celebration of this special event.

Addressing new album Cursed Redeemer, Miasmal pick their words carefully: “No mercy, no regrets, no compromise, no bullshit: This is Death Metal. Fear the curse.”
