Weirdian sludge-rockers (the) Melvins have released an animated video for their cover of Venom’s old school heavy metal tune ‘Warhead’ featuring Neurosis’ Scott Kelly.
The cleaner, made-it-their-own version of ‘Warhead’ is a track from (the) Melvins’ all covers album Everybody Loves Sausages, released last year through Ipecac Recordings. The four-minute animation was put together with a full crew and directed by Kyle Westbrook. Watch a bizarro world unravel below.
In other Melvins happenings, guitarist/vocalist Buzz (King Buzzo) Osborne is releasing his debut acoustic full-length album via Ipecac this coming June titled This Machine Kills Artists, and he is killin’ it right now on a solo US mini-tour until 23 March 2014.
