In celebration of their thirteenth album titled “Thirteen” Megadeth will be performing on Halloween night on ABC’s hit television show Jimmy Kimmel Live! After the album’s release the following day Megadeth will be heading to South American for 13-headlining shows in 9 countries beginning November 9th to December 1st. Then in 2012 a re-launch of the 2008s critically acclaimed festival GIGANTOUR will return with Motorhead, Volbeat, and Lacuna Coil. All of which were chosen by Mustain himself. Mustain goes on to talk about the new album and a few of his favorite songs. Of “Public Enemy No. 1,” Mustain says, “I was dreaming of this riff and I woke up all of the sudden. I dialed my cell phone as fast as I could and recorded it immediately.” In an interview with Revolver magazine, Mustaine talked about “Whose Life (Is It Anyways?),” saying, “It’s energetic. It’s youthful. It’s not the typical Megadeth track with a lot of riffing. It’s more of a chord progression kind of thing; just a simple song.” And of “Never Dead,” he said, “I’d written that riff while out on tour; a real breakneck rhythm pattern…this has all the elements of a video-game song, too–it starts off spooky and builds.” Mustain goes on to add, “It’s killer.”
