Megadeth will release a new DVD this September to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of classic album Rust In Peace. Footage for Rust In Peace Live was captured at the Hollywood Palladium in March 2010 at a special concert which showcased the album from start to finish. Frontman Dave Mustaine said: “We are pumped to be able to share the Rust in Peace Live concert with you all around the world. The anniversary and David Ellefson coming back was better than a facelift and a bottle of viagra for old Vic.” Released in 1990, Rust In Peace is considered by many to be a timeless metal classic, especially Hangar 18, which also made history as one of metal’s most expensive music videos to date. The 80-minute DVD, which will also be available on Blu-Ray features includes bonus tracks performed at the concert including Symphony of Destruction and backstage footage.
