Maniac Butcher: Reformed and ready to slaughter!

Czech black metal bastards Maniac Butcher have reformed and released a new album after ten years in hiding. Six new tracks appear on their latest record Masakr, released on August 10.  Recorded at three seperate studios between March and May 2010, it is alleged to be their ‘monstrous’ work yet. Drums were tracked at Aquarium in March, guitars at Bohemian Hell in April and vocals at Nhaavah in May. Performances are planned at select black metal festivals in Europe. Original members Barbarud and Blasphemer have added drummer Coroner (ex Solfernus/Despise), guitarist Infernal (Zlo) and bassist Lord Obst (Hellocauster) to their live lineup. The band are famous for outrageous slogans coined in the early 90’s including: “No keyboards!! No female vocals!! Only pure black metal storm!!
