British Heavy Metal Gods Judas Priest return to the main-stream stage by performing a show at the pop-music show American Idol. It was also the first ever gig without founding member, guitarist K.K. Downing, and with ex-Metalworks axeman Richie Faulkner (who also played with Lauren Harris).
Priest performed their classics ‘Living after Midnight’ and ‘Breaking the Law’ along with one of the eliminated contestants. See the video HERE.
Guitarist Glenn Tipton also gives hope to Priest fans for after the upcoming world tour: “If somebody came along and said, ‘Would you do a small string of dates,’ we wouldn’t automatically say no to that. But in general, this is probably the last chance you’ll get to see Priest live.”
