Jenks Miller is a relentlessly productive fellow who records new music every day, constantly trying to discover new tones and ways of expressing himself. Other than his main band, the blackened-psyche-folk of Horseback, he is involved in some other equally interesting projects, one of which, Rose Cross NC, have recently released a new EP.
Entitled Music for Snowdrifts, it features three cosmic songs that are influenced by late-era Miles Davis and The Grateful Dead. Check out the EP here, and if it floats your boat, Jenks has tons of live recordings from the band over the last year or so, which are available to stream on his bandcamp.
