Ghost (or Ghost B.C. if you like) have announced their appearance at the UK’s Sonisphere Festival. Staged on 4-5-6 July 2014, the festival will be headlined by The Prodigy, Iron Maiden and Metallica respectively.

Ghost’s addition to the bill next to these mega-selling artists further consolidates the band’s status as one of the most popular and upcoming acts of our days. The band’s mission to “spread their message via rock hymns that glorify and glamorise the disgusting and the sacrilegious” seems to work. 2013 saw Ghost (B.C.) topping charts in various magazines across the globe with their latest album Infestissumam and the band was nominated for a Swedish Grammy award in the ‘Best Hard Rock/Metal’ category.

Besides touring in the US, South America and mainland Europe, in 2013 Ghost also appeared as special guests on a full UK tour with Alice In Chains. Now they are coming back for a performance at what can only be considered a landmark venue. “It is an honour to be playing at the unholy ground that is Knebworth, where so many classic rock concerts have taken place throughout the years,” says A Nameless Ghoul.
