Originally released in 1990, ‘Spiritual Healing’ was the third studio album for the Florida technical death metallers aptly named Death, and twelve years on, it’s back to give us the kick in the ears we’ve so desperately needed.
‘Spiritual Healing marked a turn towards the better produced, more creative sound that Death have been known for, and which set the bar to which all Death albums would be judged.
The reissue contains some unreleased tracks, and due to the band’s having broken up due Chuck Schuldiner’s death to brain cancer in 2001, this is likely to be some of the last new material we ever hear from the band.
