Sludge metal nihilists Eyehategod return after more than a decade since their last full-length, with a US headlining tour starting 28 May 2014, a day after the album’s North American release date.
Eyehategod’s forthcoming self-titled album was financed by the band and will be released through Housecore Records, the label founded by fellow New Orleans musician Phil Anselmo (Pantera, Down). Pre-ordering is now available for the end of May release date and you will probably want to do that after hearing a ripping new track, check out ‘Agitation! Propaganda!’ below.
Eyehategod’s headlining tour starts in Atlanta on 28 May with support from the hardcore metal of Ringworm and Enabler. For the rest of this April on the Eyehategod live gigs list are a few US west coast dates, an appearance at the Three Floyds beer sponsored Dark Lord Day festival in Munster, Indiana, and a one-off in Baltimore, Maryland alongside High On Fire and Corrosion Of Conformity.
