Cavalera Conspiracy are working on new material. The band that Max and Igor Cavalera formed in 2007 have signed with Napalm Records and their third, still untitled album is coming in 2014.

The re-invigorated Cavalera brothers describe the successor to Blunt Wound Trauma (2011) as a brutal affair. At the Napalm Records website, Max comments: “This is gonna be our third album and it’s going to be a brutal grind core style… Get ready to be brutalized by Cavalera Conspiracy and Napalm Records!” On the same page, Igor states: “I am very excited to record the new Cavalera Conspiracy record… Me and Max have been planning this for a while, and all I can say is that it will be a brutal record. Also, I’m super proud to join Napalm Records, home of lots of amazing artists.”

The new album will see the addition of Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom) on bass. Nate’s comment at Converge’s facebook page reads: “It’s pretty awesome when people whose music you’ve admired for years ask you to be a part of it with them. I’m honored!”

So watch out!
