CANNIBAL CORPSE ADDED TO DAMNATION FESTIVAL

American death metal legends and champions of gore Cannibal Corpse are the latest addition to Damnation Festival’s already enticing lineup.

The festival’s 10th anniversary takes place on November 1 at Leeds University Union and it will be the first time Cannibal Corpse have appeared, headlining the Terrorizer stage.

Speaking about the announcement, the band said: “We’ve been hearing about the Damnation festival from our fans for a while now, so we’re really excited we’re going to get the chance to play it this year.  It’s clearly a killer festival and we’re stoked to be a part of it. See you all this fall!”

They join headliners Bolt Thrower in what will be their only UK performance of the year, Saint Vitus playing through Born Too Late in full, and a newly reunited Raging Speedhorn, with 23 more bands across four stages still to be announced.

It’s been a busy few days for Cannibal Corpse as they’ve also announced they’ll be playing a one-off Halloween date at London’s The Forum with Revocation and Aeon, and trekking across the USA this summer as part of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival with the likes of Darkest Hour, Wretched, Erimha and some others too.

Damnation Festival takes place on November 1 at Leeds University Union. Tickets cost £36 and can be ordered online here.
