429464_250203981731620_1449486182_nAs December looms and we hurtle towards the end of the year, the organisers at Bloodstock festival have not slowed down in delivering more top acts, adding to an already diverse and interesting bill for 2015..

First off in this announcement, we are treated to New York thrash legends Overkill, who are set to grace the Ronnie James Dio stage. With their latest album White Devil Armory still hot off the press, frontman Bobby ‘Blitz’ Ellsworth tells us; “We are loading the big guns and setting sail for the UK this summer! Be warned! The island is in danger, it’s a White Devil Army….Let’s make Bloodstock 2015 a bloodbath!”.

Folk metal Finns Ensiferum shall also be joining the party. Having recently finished recording their new album, One Man Army (released on 23rd February), the band are looking forward to an action packed year in 2015. On their forthcoming BOA appearance, they have stated; “It feels really awesome to return to mighty Bloodstock again! There are so many great memories from previous years and now it’s time to make bunch of new ones. This gig will be really special because we head to Bloodstock with brilliant set of golden oldies and nutcracking metal anthems from our new album! So see you all there! Mosh till you drop!”.

Next summer’s event will also mark a return for Austrian black/death metal power-house, Belphegor, who shall be playing on the Ronnie James Dio stage. Frontman/guitarist and founder Helmuth Lehner comments; “Belphegor returns to the ingenious Bloodstock Open Air! We will play at the main stage and promote our latest offering Conjuring The Dead. Belphegor will bring you the most intense ritual possible. Join the pit and prepare for diabolical death metal chaos.”.

These acts shall be joining a bill that includes the likes of Orange Goblin, 1349, Armoured Saint, Nuclear Assault, Death Angel, Death To All, Sepultura, Cannibal Corpse, Ihsahn, Opeth, Within Temptation (Saturday headliner) and Rob Zombie (Sunday headliner)..

Early bird tickets are currently on sale and available here, but be quick as they won’t be around for long (offer ends 15th of December at midnight!).

Thanks for dropping in!
