NWOBHM LEGENDS JAGUAR SEEK NEW VOCALIST

Jaguar band logoCalling all caterwaulers! NWOBHM legends Jaguar are on the hunt for a new singer and they’re appealing for any prospective vocalists to get in touch with the band following the departure of long-standing frontman Jamie Manton.

“We took a new guy on recently but it didn’t work out, so we are back to square one,” Jaguar founder and guitarist Garry Peppard tells Zero Tolerance. “We are looking for a singer who fits in musically and personally, as both are equally important. A powerful metal singer would do the trick as we are f**king loud…!!”

Anyone interested in trying out for the frontman spot in Jaguar can send mp3s, links, and anything else relevant to jaguarnwobhminfo@gmail.com.

Sadly Jaguar’s recent vocalist-based woes have led to the band cancelling two 2015 gigs in Holland, which would have taken place in February and March, but Jaguar are hoping to have a new singer in place in time for their appearance at Garage Dayz Revisited alongside Tygers of Pan Tang, Tysondog, and a whole host of other NWOBHM stalwarts in London on Saturday 27 June.

Jaguar was formed by Garry Peppard and original bassist Jeff Cox in 1979, and the band found fame in the early 1980s with their much-loved 1983 Power Games album. They split in the mid ‘80s but got back together in 1999 and have been gigging and releasing new material ever since, with their latest album Metal X having been released in November 2014 on GoldenCore Records.
