Death metal underground legend Vincent Crowley who was and is well-known for his works with Acheron, Infidel Reich and many more is going to unleash new music with his self-titled project onto the world. Beyond Archeron is the first album to be spawned under the banner of Vincent Crowley.
After decades of working and preaching unholy deeds with his main outlet Acheron, the black/death musician decided to put this band to rest and to evoke another manifestation of death. No more following the traditional path of death metal, Vincent Crowley is an attempt of the American artist to merge together different musicial influences – of course, without losing his focus on the sinister and on death. The first album (fittingly titled) Beyond Acheron contains eight tracks and aims at achieving a gloomy Poe-esque atmosphere.
We are proud to herald and present exclusively the first song ‘La Muerte‘ from the coming output which can now be streamed on the YouTube page of the label Odium Records.
Beyond Acheron was recorded at Sonic Lounge Studios with Joe Viers as a producer. The eight songs present on the album are not yet revealed, but it is already known that it will be six metal tracks with an intro and an outro. Should the Covid-19 pandemic ever end, Vincent Crowley are prepared to enter the stages and present their art also live.
Beyond Acheron may be pre-ordered already directly via Odium Records or their Bandcamp page, aiming at a release at the end of June on CD, vinyl, and as a wooden box.
