As previously reported by Zero Tolerance, UK BMers Bal-Sagoth are about to re-release three of their albums, namely ‘The Power Cosmic’, ‘Atlantis Ascendant’ and ‘The Chthonic Chronicles’.
Band frontman Byron Roberts talked to ZT about the upcoming releases:
“Our fourth and fifth albums “The Power Cosmic” and “Atlantis Ascendant” have been languishing ignominiously in the limbo of deleted releases for the last year or so, and fans have been saying how tough they’ve been finding it to get hold of copies, so I certainly welcomed this opportunity to release new digipack editions of our Second Trilogy. The digipacks will be released by Nuclear Blast’s affiliate label Metal Mind Productions, and will feature additional artwork by Martin Hanford and expanded lyric booklets. There are no additional or bonus tracks included, as everything that was recorded for those albums was released, but all three albums have been newly remastered. They’ll be limited to 2000 copies each. So, if any Bal-Sagoth fans have been searching for CD copies of “The Power Cosmic”, “Atlantis Ascendant” and “The Chthonic Chronicles”, they’ll be able to get hold of these new editions during November in Europe and January in the USA. Original Press Release:
