We’ve joined forces with Napalm Records to premiere Thy Antichrist’s lyric video for their new track ‘Nightmares’.
The US-based black metallers have been busy collecting fans around the world since 1998, and, according to the label, they’re hungry to escape the clutches of the underground. Their appearance at the 2015 edition of the 70.000 Tons Of Metal cruise helped them along that path, and they’re hoping that their forthcoming release will push them further still. Taking influences from a myriad of metal genres – from thrash, heavy metal, death metal and of course black metal – the band are getting ready to unleash their latest album, Wrath Of The Beast. Icy guitar cascades with a distinctive Scandinavian black metal character melt into thrashy nuances and progressive insanity “normally reserved for the likes of the legendary Voivod. Pure dissonance and seething fury meets experimental songwriting and the end result is a blasphemous gem!”, so they say.
