Dartmoor’s doom merchants THE WOUNDED KINGS are finally embarking on European tour. Band mastermind Steve Mills spoke to ZT about the upcoming tour:
“This tour has been a long time coming, we had to cancel the last one due to broken bones, but not this time!…nearly though! Jim our bass player got his face literally smashed in after seeing a show. Fractured cheek bones, eye socket and nose, the works he was in pretty bad shape, but heh you can’t keep a good man down! The new line-up is soo fuckin ready for this ! We are tighter and heavier than ever before, the two warm up gigs in bristol and birmingham were absolute killer and This is will be the first time in the 8 years the Kings have been around that we will be touring in mainland europe! We are really looking forward to finally meeting our euro fans and friends… Bring on the doom!”
The only UK date of the tour is the ZT sponsored London date at the Bull & Gate on Wednesday 29th of February. Supporting band will be Witchsorrow, Serpent Venom and Cultfinder. Join the facebook group HERE.
