Speckmann Project unveil the title track from new album

Master’s co-founder Paul Speckmann continues with his offshoot band Speckmann Project in 2022, releasing new music in collaboration with Rogga Johansson, known for a multitude of bands including Paganizer, Ribspreader, Revolting… the list goes on (and on, and on!).

The second chapter of Speckmann Project is titled Fiends Of Emptiness and is due for release via Emanzipation Productions in the first half of 2022 – a firm date is yet to be confirmed. But, in preparation, you can listen to the title track right here.

The story behind Paul Speckmann’s eponymous project is that having co-founded Master in 1993, the band secured a recording contract with Nuclear Blast, and in 1989 Speckmann (vocals, bass) along with Chris Mittelbrun (guitar) and Bill Schmidt (drums) recorded their debut album in Solid Sound Studios in Chicago. Unfortunately, things didn’t go quite as planned and so the album was recorded again with a different lineup at Morrissound studios in Florida with the legendary producer Scott Burns. From the two recordings completed for that album, the second one of them was released as Speckmann Project.
