SKELETONWITCH, Ohio’s famed blackened thrashers are back at it again!
The group is hitting up GodCity Studios this April alongside producer Kurt Ballou (Converge, Kvelertak, Black Breath), to record “an epic slab of metal, even if they do say so themselves,” to be released late 2013 via Prosthetic Records.
Recently completing their latest headlining tour, Skeletonwitch’s “U.S. Abomination” was received to much acclaim as they kicked it heavy style, with partners in crime Havok, and Mutilation Rites.
The band comments: “First off, thanks to everyone who supported Skeletonwitch during this past year. We did some serious gigging in 2012, and your support on the road and of ‘Forever Abomination’ was overwhelming. We would be nowhere without you.
“It’s not just idle hands that do the devil’s work — we’re already deep in the process of writing a new record, which is shaping up to be quite an epic slab of metal, if we may say so ourselves.”
