Floridian death metal giants Six Feet Under will make a welcome return to European shores this summer with a date at Summer Breeze. It will be the first time the current SFU incarnation will have played the festival since the departure of bassist Terry Butler and drummer Greg Gall (the former going on to play with Obituary) in January of last year. Front-man Chris Barnes has since recruited an all-star line-up which includes drummer Kevin Talley (formerly of Dying Foetus amongst others) and Chimaira guitarists Rob Arnold and Matt DeVries, the latter to handle bass playing duties.
Summer Breeze has told fans “You can look forward to a fireworks display of hits old and new!” as the band’s as yet untitled new record should hit the shelves in time for their appearance, which also happens to coincide with the festival’s 15th anniversary.
Six Feet Under will play Summer Breeze on Friday 17/08/12
