Shining (Swe) are celebrating their first gold single as ‘Fortvivlan, Min Arvedel’, released exclusively to the Swedish market tops the 10,000 sales threshold.

Ever-cheerful frontman Niklas Kvarforth comments; “I never thought I would have a Shining gold record hanging on my bathroom wall. I want to thank all our past, present and future fans for helping us turn our world into a worse place to live, and pray for the day we will be able to infect other countries on such a big scale!”

The A-side “Förtvivlan, Min Arvedel” is taken from the recent album VII Fodd Forlorare, while the B-side is a previously unreleased cover of Alice Cooper’s ‘Prince Of Darkness’. Both tracks can be heard via SoundCloud player at .
