Black metal whore Niklas Kvarforth has been busy as ever…currently he is locked away at Sonic Train Studios with producer Andy LaRocque recording the 8th Shining album (tentatively titled VIII; didn’t see that coming, did you?)

The band have set up a studio blog, so check it out for updates and a “fly on the wall” video diary.

Kvarforth also appears on the forthcoming album from So Much For Nothing, which is due out on My Kingdom Music on Jan 16th. Masterminded by members of Urgehal and Sarkom, the album ‘Livsgnist’ (Spark Of Life in English) also features guest performances from Peter Huss from Shining, Ingvild Sareeta Kaare ex Ram-Zet, Trondr Nefas from Urgehal, Seidemann from 1349, Aethyris McKay ex-Absu.

A teaser can be viewed here, as well as a preview on Soundcloud below.
