Death metal deviants Corpus Mortale have signed to US label Deepsend Records who will release the band’s new album later this year.
.
‘FleshCraft’, the third full-length from the deadly Danish mob, was recorded at Tue Madsen’s Antfarm studio (Vader, Kataklysm, Moonspell) and at Antfarm’s previous location, known now as JBO Sound studios — with producer Jacob Olsen (Panzerchrist, Crocell).
.
The album will be released in late autumn.
.
According to a press release, ‘FleshCraft’, the follow-up to 2007’s ‘A New Species of Deviant’, “will come to be known as a defining statement of Danish death metal. The year’s best death metal album is also amongst the best from Denmark ever. The perfect death metal recording, Martin Rosendahl’s trademark bellow (last heard on The Cleansing’s “Poisoned Legacy”) and their musicianship that’s second to none. ‘FleshCraft’ is an excellently composed monster, exemplifying everything that Danish death metal has been known for and finally accomplished by Corpus Mortale.”
