Ascetic sounding doom crew Bong have finished recording their follow-up to Mana-Yood-Sushai, and it will be available through Ritual Productions in March 2014, right before the band’s scheduled appearance at the mighty Roadburn Festival in April.
An edited version of a new track called ‘Polaris’ from the (untitled-for-now) album is available for a listen right here. Eight minutes of monk-like contemplation for those that have a respectable attention span and appreciate the drone. Ritualproductions.net says: “Mesmerizing meditative jams centered around an unfurling guitar riff and gelled by spaced-out drum beats.”
