Desertfest, London’s festival of doomed sounds, is heading towards its fourth annual instalment, set to take place on 24, 25 and 26 April 2015 across three venues in Camden Town, London. As the dawn of 2015 draws nearer, more and more bands for the festival are being announced.
Floor, Black Pyramid, The Atomic Bitchwax, Lo-Pan, Karma To Burn, Amulet, Desert Storm and The Wounded Kings were added to an already almighty line-up today. More bands are to be announced, but those in London during those days will have the chance to be exposed to the live energy of Black Cobra and Orange Goblin; to be amazed by the crushing bleakness of Walk Through Fire and Noothgrush; and to lose themselves in the sound palettes of Agrimonia and Minsk… not to mention, that is, the chance to be induced into a dreamlike trance at Koko as Sleep headline the final day of the festival.
Those travelling to London for the occasion will be able to book their hotel as they book their festival tickets. The press-release reads:
“For the first time since the carnation of Desertfest, we are now offering a hotel and ticket package for 2015’s festival. We’ve taken over the Camden Lock Hotel and have a limited amount of weekend tickets and hotel packages to offer you good folk. There are Singles, Twins and Double Rooms available…plus as an added bonus, upon arrival you will be welcomed to London with a Desertfest 2015 goodie bag including your ticket, program, patches, a record and much more.”
