Swedish sickos Grave have begun work recording their new album.
.
The masters of death commenced recording last weekend at their own Studio Soulless, working on songs for what is at the moment titled “Endless Procession Of Souls”.
.
The Extremely Rotten death metallers are tracking 12 songs, including nine new ones and three “very special” cuts for the LP, which will be released in mid-2012 through Century Media Records.
.
Guitarist and growler Ola Lindgren commented: “[The recording sessions have] been going very well and [the stuff] sounds killer already at this early stage with only drums and bass tracks done. I would describe it as a mix of our latest two releases with some more old-school, groovy ‘Soulless’ parts.”
.
The band’s guitarist of three years, Magnus Martinsson, has been succeeded by Mika Lagrén, after they recently parted ways with Magnus.
.
Grave are also planning on releasing footage taken from a gig last year at Club Distortion/Kulturhuset in Stockholm, where they marked the 20th anniversary of their classic debut full-length, “Into The Grave”, by performing the album in its entirety, as well as “another handful of classic tunes.”
